Dr. Frederick Walter Engmann was born in Ghana, West Africa on the 28th of February, 1931.  Dr. Engman’s siblings were; Edward, Edwin, Christina, Gladys and Virginia.

Dr. Engmann graduated M.D. from the University of London, England in 1959.  He immigrated to Canada in December of 1967 after he completed his specialization in Diagnostic Radiology (DMRD).

Dr. Engmann was married to Uta and he was the father of 2 sons, Sven and Eric.

Dr. Engmann worked in Calgary and Yorkton, Saskatchewan before settling in Wallaceburg in 1981, where he was the Chief Radiologist at the Sydenham District Hospital.

Dr. Engmann died at the Credit Valley Hospital on the 30th of June, 2016 in Mississauga, Ontario.
