Biography:

Dr. George Edward Thomas Lawley was born in Dudley, Staffordshire, England in 1923.  Dr. Lawley’s parents were George Edward Lawley and the former Norah Anne Sherry.

Dr. Lawley married Elizabeth Margaret Peacock in 1951 in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.

He graduated from the University of London (England) Medical School in 1953.  After completing medical school, Dr. Lawley practiced medicine in Sutton and Cheam, Surrey, England.  On electoral lists, Dr. and Mrs. Lawley resided on Langley Park Road from 1953 until at least 1956.  In 1963 Dr. and Mrs. Lawley resided at 56 Lyford Road (Wandsworth Borough) in London, England.

Eventually Dr. and Mrs. Lawley immigrated to Canada and settled in Thamesville, where he continued to practice medicine.  In the early 1970’s Dr. and Mrs. Lawley resided at 105 Elizabeth Street (in Thamesville), with their son Nicholas and their daughter Sarah.

Dr. Lawley died on the 27th of August, 1990.
