Biography:

Dr. Barrie Dunseath was born on the 26th of September, 1932 in Wallasey, Cheshire, England.  He is the 2nd of 4 children born to Charles E. Dunseath and the former Lillian Pinch.   His father was a painter and his siblings are; Charles, Robert and Edward.

Dr. Dunseath received education at Oldershaw Grammar School.  The Dunseath family  immigrated to Sombra, Ontario in 1952.

While he was a student at medical school, Dr. Dunseath married Jacqueline Nadine Henry on the 29th of August, 1960 in Sombra.  Mrs. Dunseath was born on the 24th of February, 1927 and raised in the village of Sombra.  She was the youngest of 4 children born to William Alvin Henry and the former Lillian Grace Whale.   Her father was a sailor and her siblings were; Richard, Mary Ann and Norma.  Mrs. Dunseath was a bookkeeper.

Dr. Dunseath graduated from McGill University Faculty of Medicine in 1963.

Upon graduation Dr. Dunseath practiced medicine at the Carruthers Clinic in Sarnia, Ontario and he was the Medical Officer of Health for Sombra Township.  By 1967 Dr. Dunseath was in a general medical practice located at 837 Dufferin Ave. in Wallaceburg, Ontario.

Dr. and Mrs. Dunseath had one daughter Jennifer.

Dr. Dunseath eventually moved to Wolverine, Michigan and continued to practice medicine.

Dr. Dunseath enjoys swimming, boating, fishing and photography.

Mrs. Dunseath died on the 22nd of May, 2005.  She was buried in the Henry family plot at Riverside Cemetery in Sombra.
